Christian Yah has appreciated art for as long as he can remember. Growing with a pencil to draw anything that sparked his interest, comic books mostly. It lead to an experimentation of different mediums from watercolor, oil painting even airbrush, which directed him to his first job as artist doing T-shirts at Six Flags. As he continues to pursue his interests in art, he applies his skills by going the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He made his presence known by winning best of show his first year as a student. Even landing his first national wide project making a few characters for Cap’n Crunch while still in school.

After achieving his degree, he landed a job with a design firm where he had the opportunity to expand his skills onto graphic design. From there came a wide range of clients from Quaker Oats, Ralston Foods, Enesco, Home Depot and Sears. The experience would open doors into package design, photoshop manipulation, supervising a team of designers, and art directing photography.

To this day he is still in the habit of creating art and design with a wide range of styles and inspiration in his back pocket. Using materials such as pen and ink, markers, acrylic, color pencils, and airbrush. Mediums also include Photoshop and Illustrator. Styles vary from whimsical, line art, digital as well as realistic.
His clients are very pleased with his work and continue to use him as needed. The effort that is put into the job would always speak for itself and would receive its reward in appreciation.

His dreams and ambitions has given him the stride to keep doing what he loves and enjoys, and will continue to do so for as long as the arts exists.
